Please ensure that your dog is kept on a lead on arrival and that they have been toileted before their groom.
Ensure that your pet is fit, healthy and vaccinations are up to date before visiting.
Grooming of sick and elderly dogs is done at the owner's risk. If your dog's health causes me concern during the groom, you agree to me seeking veterinary advice at your expense.
You must agree that I as the groomer will not be held liable or responsible for any underlying skin or health problems that grooming may expose.
I as the groomer cannot be held responsible for the standard of grooming or mishaps that may occur while grooming dogs with behavioral issues.
If a pet needs extra time spent on them due to de-matting or behavior, there will be an extra charge for this.
If a dog's coat is heavily matted I may need to shave it off due to the Animal Welfare Act. I will not put any animal through unnecessary pain by trying to remove severe matting. If this does occur, your pet may take a few days to get used to their new coat. With shaving the coat completely, there is a slight risk of cutting the dog.
Owners must sign a permission form for me to shave off a coat and there will be an additional charge of £15 on top of the groom cost.
Owners details and contact information will be stored under GDPR rules. Your details will be used for any records only to enable me to contact you by telephone or text for any emergency, booking reminders, collections or any special offers.
If I find a dog to be severely aggressive, I may need to muzzle them or terminate the groom for my own safety.
If your dog is showing signs of being unwell, in season or pregnant, please don’t bring them.
I will not accept a dog with fleas. If fleas are discovered, there will be an extra charge as the salon will need to be closed and treated which will mean a loss of profit for the day.
I am a lone worker and provider 1-1 service which means that it is very important to keep to your scheduled appointment time and collection. If you are over 10 minutes late for drop off, I will need to reschedule your appointment and a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
Please could I ask that you notify me at least 48 hours before your appointment if you are no longer able to make it. This should give sufficient time for me to fill the space. Failure to do this will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
